What other names is Hitori known as?
This seems to be one of those rare puzzles that does not really go under any names - everyone seems to agree that the puzzle is called hitori and that is what it is published under in most places.
In Europe hitori threatened to become popular, but never actually did as only one newspaper in the UK decided to publish it regularly and the interest levels for this puzzle were fairly low it has remained a marginalised and rarely seen puzzle.
