What strategy tips will help me solve Slitherlink puzzles?
Remember that as useful as working out where the loop goes around a cell it is also useful to know where it cannot go and mark that off accordingly.
Once you hit the required number of borders to a cell, then cross off the others to remind yourself they are now out of limits!
With corner 1's, then the corner lines can of course be crossed out, as a line cannot go there and obey the fact that only one border is filled with the loop on that cell.
If you have two 3's that are next to each other, you can see that the boundary that is common between the two of them mst be filled.
Those are a couple of handy hints to get you started - as you go through solving them you realise other more subtle rules that you can apply, and if you get really stuck you can even think about applying mathematical theory to help you determine the path of the loop!
