What are the rules of light up?
Light up, which is also known as akiri, has the following rules:
You place light bulbs into certain cells on the grid. These go in white cells on the puzzle grid, and the aim is to light up the entire grid.
Note that no two bulbs can shine onto each other, and the rays from a bulb move horizontally and vertically and will light the whole row. Light is blocked by black cells.
Many black cells contain numbers, and this indicates the number of light bulbs that are adjance to it, for instance if there is a 0 then none of the adjacent cells contain a light bulb.
There is interesting logic and techniques you will discover as you start solving these puzzles, initially harder puzzles can prove a little inaccessible so start easy and move up.
