What is a colour nonogram?
Firstly, what is a nonogram?
Well it is a logic puzzle that requires you to build a picture by solving clues. The puzzle is composed of a grid with numbers around it. These indicate how many filled cells there are in that row or column.
For instance '6' means there are 6 continuous filled cells. Each discrete block of filled cells is separated by a comma in the clues, such as '6,3'. This means there is a gap of at least one blank cell between the region of six filled cells and that of three filled cells.
With colour nonograms, however, each number also has a colour.
Then, these indicate how many cells of that colour are to be placed in that row or column.
There is a key difference between colour and black and white nonograms in the rules - read the next FAQ to find out!
