What is hidoku?
Hidoku is a logic puzzle that is not seen that often! Having been around in one guise or another for many years in mixed puzzle books (often in the form of a chess puzzle relating to the moves of a king around every square on a chess board), recently it has undergone something of a revival. The name that it is used for the puzzle varies from place to place. One of the names that is used is hidato, which is a trademark.
The aim is to work out a path between all cells in a grid, and that grid can be of various different shapes and sizes.
The path must be such that you can trace a continuous path from the first to the last cell, moving one cell horizontally, vertically or diagonally at each move.
